Naz at a glance
Nazareth Academy is an all girls college preparatory high school for grades 9-12.
Our school is located at 27 Cordis Street, Wakefield, Massachusetts. We are just yards from the beautiful Lake Quannapowitt, which will be used as an "outdoor classroom" for some of our science and visual arts classes.
Nazareth Academy is a Candidate for Accreditation with New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
We have an award winning music program that has traveled around the globe and recorded several CD's.
The Drama department competes in the Massachusetts High School Drama Festival every year.
Our language department has planned several trips to countries where the girls can immerse themselves in the culture of the language they study.
Our Guidance department will work one-on-one with students to foster academic, emotional and personal growth throughout their time at Nazareth.
We offer community service opportunities throughout the state and also participate in mission trips.
Scholarships are available and will be based on academic achievement and financial need.
Our school is located within yards of public transportation, and has easy access by bus to the MBTA's Orange Line, and access to the Haverhill to Boston Commuter Rail line.

Mission Statement
It is Nazareth Academy's mission to prepare young women to meet the challenges of modern life, to contribute in a positive way to the society in which they live, and to encourage each student to attain true self-knowledge and a true sense of self-worth as one created by God in His image.
At the Academy, we provide an environment for serious academic pursuit in a caring Christian community that is rooted in the Catholic tradition. Our administrators, faculty and staff will seek to know their students as individuals with the goal of helping identify their strengths and abilities. They are deeply committed and dedicated educators of the highest level of academic preparation and study.
