NAZARETH ACADEMY an academy of excellence for young women

Dear Friends,

As I write to you today, the chatter and laughter of our girls fill the hallways with great excitement and enthusiasm.  Two years ago, many of us wondered if the tradition of an all girls education would still be available north of Boston.  We are grateful and give thanks to the Lord for the traditions that have gone before us.  At the same time, we feel a tremendous responsibility to carry forth the legacy left for us of an all girls education for today’s girls as well as for generations of girls yet to come.  As we continue this legacy, I write to ask for your help.

It was at Nazareth that the Angel of the Lord asked Mary to become the mother of the Messiah.  Her “yes” brought the Savior to the world.  Our academy is called Nazareth because we have declared our “yes” to God.  We are dedicated to bringing forth, for His glory, a faith filled academy for young women to grow in grace, to be educated and empowered to serve and make their voices heard for justice and peace.

Recently, Danielle, a senior shared with me, “I am so thankful that I am here at Nazareth.  I feel close to God and I now have the confidence to be the very best student I can be.”  She is typical of all of our girls who are growing spiritually and intellectually while developing their natural gifts of self-motivation and self-confidence. To meet the educational needs of Danielle and all the girls here at Nazareth, I could use your “yes” to help fulfill this legacy of an all girls education.  Here are a few of our current needs:

·         Scholarship aid for students. While our tuition is very modest, many students need financial aid to attend Nazareth.

·         General operation funds to support our facilities – everything from heat to yearly maintenance.  Tuition revenues only meet about 70% of our current operational needs.

·         As we complete our accreditation process through the National Association of Independent Schools and Colleges, we need to expand the holdings of our library and increase the use of technology.

·         In order to attract and keep the very best faculty members, we need to compensate them beyond what tuition revenue alone provides.

This year we require at a minimum $80,000 in charitable gifts to meet our current needs.  I come before you to ask for your financial help.  Would you prayerfully consider a gift this year to Nazareth Academy?  Your gift will help us to continue this work for all girls education – for this generation and generations to come.  I have enclosed a self-addressed stamped envelope for your convenience in which you can mail your gift. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

May the blessings of the Savior of the world dwell in your heart.  May He fill you and your loved ones with peace, love and inexpressible joy touched with glory.

In His Love,
