"Write the vision down, inscribe it on tablets to be easily read, since this vision is for its own time only: eager for its own fulfillment, it does not deceive: if it comes slowly, wait, for come it will, without fail"(Habakkuk 2:2-3).
Dear friends,
I am seeking God's vision for Nazareth Academy, not my personal vision. Nazareth is where Our Blessed Mother made a home for Jesus, where people were at home with Jesus. As we journey with great hope towards the fulfillment of God's vision may we be more at home in His blessed presence. Nazareth Academy offers young women a Christian and Classical Education in the Roman Catholic tradition that prepares them academically, spiritually and socially for a life marked by leadership and service in today's global community.
A classical Christian Education in the Roman Catholic Tradition emphasizes the critical role of the teacher in directing the student's learning and encouraging her success. The teacher is living curriculum, an example for our young women to follow guiding them toward wisdom and truth.
Our administrators, faculty and staff will seek to know their students as individuals with the goal of helping them to identify their strengths and abilities while nurturing growth in areas of weakness. Our administrators and faculty will be deeply committed educators of the highest level of academic preparation and zeal to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through their individual example and subject expertise, ready to challenge the mind, inspire the heart and nourish the soul. I am deeply committed to the challenge of bringing this premier school for women to the North Shore and surrounding areas.
In His Love,
Patricia Capone Tamagini, Ph.D.
